STROKESURVIVORS INTERNATIONAL

It is our desire to offer helpful support and encouragement to survivors of Stroke, their Caregivers and concerned family and friends, throughout the world. We want to encourage them to be Stroke Survivors, not victims. To help them pursue worthwhile and quality lifestyles within the limitations that the Stroke has imposed upon them.

We hope to do this through Internet e-mail communication via a group list provided by yahoogroups.com where members can share personal experiences and information, and socialize with each other. It is our intent to make friends with others in like situations and circumstances. To participate, a member must have access to the Internet, and be capable of sending and receiving e-mail messages. Our communication is in American English, and persons are encouraged to send messages without having the need to be concerned about spelling or grammar, as long as they are able to make themselves understood reasonably well by the other members.

We also hope that the links we provide on our web pages will assist our members by providing information and knowledge which may be of benefit to them.

For the benefit of our members, we have instituted a few rules. NO advertising is permitted. NO solicitation of funds for any purpose is permitted. NO third party forwarded e-mail communications are permitted, except by permission of the owner.
